Level IV (Level 4) Commissioned Security, or Armed Concealed Security, is the advanced course that covers the state requirements of becoming a Concealed Carry Personal Protection Officer in Texas.  This is the Required Level to Be Able to Carry a Gun Concealed in the duties of Personal Protection (Bodyguard) or Executive Protection Agent. This is a 21-hour class in which you must pass a written test to become certified to carry a gun concealed. The class combines classroom time, physical instruction on handcuffing, holds and restraints, and weapon retention. This security training course provides the Level 4 training as required by the State of Texas and Department of Public Safety.
